Jacqueline Bowman-Busato

Jacqueline Bowman-Busato brings to the team 20 years’ experience in healthcare and life sciences policy-driven advocacy, stakeholder engagement and strategic alliance-building.

She has transformed a patient-led platform into an equally-weighted, multi-stakeholder think-tank for person-centred care. She has advised the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) on patient engagement strategy, and provides expert advice to the European Commission on self-care policies. Jacqueline works extensively on European as well as global projects bringing the key stakeholders together to build lasting consensus on global, regional and national levels.

Jacqueline holds an LLB Hons (English Law and French Law), a post-graduate diploma in Strategic Communications and an MBA from the Vlerick Business School. She is Guyanese (South America)-born, with British English as her mother tongue, but she also speaks fluent French and has a passive knowledge of Flemish.
